The Building blocks to quit.

As an artist, it is not uncommon to experience thoughts of quitting your art career. However, before making any drastic decisions, it is important to take a step back and reflect on why you are feeling this way. Here are some steps you can take to deal with these thoughts:

  1. Identify the root cause of your thoughts: Ask yourself why you are thinking about quitting your art career. Is it because of a lack of sales, a lack of inspiration, or a feeling of burnout? Identifying the root cause of your thoughts can help you determine the best course of action.

  2. Talk to someone: It can be helpful to talk to someone about your thoughts, whether it be a friend, family member, or mentor. They may be able to offer you some perspective and help you work through your feelings.

  3. Take a break: Sometimes taking a break can be the best thing for your creative spirit. Take some time off to recharge, explore other interests, and come back to your art with a fresh perspective.

  4. Set new goals: Setting new goals can help you reignite your passion for your art career. Consider setting goals that are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART). For example, you could set a goal to create a new series of artwork or to participate in a specific art show.

  5. Seek out support: Consider joining a community of artists or seeking out a mentor to help you stay motivated and inspired. Having a support system can make all the difference when it comes to pursuing your art career.

Remember, it's okay to have doubts and second thoughts about your art career. But before making any big decisions, take the time to reflect on your feelings and explore your options.
